PROGRAM LEVELS Infant Aquatics 6 mths – 3 yrsParent/Baby lessons teach parents how to assist their babies to feel confident and relaxed in the water. Emphasis is placed on water confidence, independence and basic swimming through group activities, games and songs Pre-School 3 – 5 yrs Children enter the pool independently of parents. They are taught water confidence and basic safety skills. Progression to kicking and swimming. School Age 6 – 15 years Students are placed into levels beginning with the complete novice and progressing to a learner with proficiency in all six strokes. Survival skills are included to provide a more comprehensive swimming and water safety program. Squad Squad training is designed for the swimmer who wants to improve their fitness and skills and has progressed beyond the School Age Swim and Survive Program. Private Lessons These lessons are tailored for people of all abilities and ages. The classes are conducted on a one-on-one basis to suit individual needs. Adult Lessons The adult program caters for all abilities. As class numbers are small, individual needs can be met. Special Needs The Special Needs Program accommodates children of adults that may require special attention due to various reasons. The Centre has facilities to accommodate extra needs.
