Welcome to Mildura Waves Crèche As part of our commitment to customer service, we offer Crèche facilities to all patrons and the general public. Our aim is to provide high quality care in a stimulating and safe environment. All children are provided with choices and challenges to build their development and self esteem. Occasional Care Mildura Waves Crèche offers Occasional Care to members, non members and the general public. Occasional Care is the perfect choice if you need to attend an appointment, go shopping, visit the library or to just have some time out to yourself,resting assured that your child is being well cared for. Staff We have qualified and experienced friendly staff whom will provide your child with the highest quality care, in a fun and safe environment. You can rest assured that our Crèche complies with all the Department of Human Services regulations. Fees There is a minimum 1 hour and a maximum of 3 hours booking per child. Hours Member Non Member 1 $2.90 $5.15 1.5 $4.15 $ 7.65 2 $5.80 $10.30 Per family which includes three children: Hours Member Non Member 1 $7.00 $12.25 For more information please feel free to speak to one of our friendly reception or Crèche staff. Payments are to be made at reception on day of attendance. We also offer affordable 10 and 20 Visit Crèche Passes. Registered Child Care Our Crèche is a registered Child Care provider. If you are eligible for Child Care Benefit, you are able to claim through the Family Assistance Office upon a valid receiptfrom the Mildura Waves Crèche. See staff for further information. Age Mildura Waves Crèche offer care to children from 8 weeks of age up to 12 years of age. So during the school holidays, feel free to also book your older children in. Bookings Bookings are essential and can be made anytime prior to the day, but must be made no later than 7:30 am on the day of attendance. Bookings ensure that the correct staff/child ratios are adhered to. Bookings can be made in person or by phoning Mildura Waves on 50188391. Regulations limit the number of children we can cater for at any one time, therefore it is necessary that you arrive and depart according to the times you have booked. Cancellations We understand that there may be unexpected times when you will need to cancel your booking, therefore we respectfully ask that you do so as soon as possible to allow other parents to take advantage. Enrolment An Enrolment Form must be completed PRIOR to your child's first visit. The confidential information provided in this form authorizes our staff to act in the case of an emergency andprovides uswith essential information regarding medical issues, allergies orcustodial details. This form mustbe fully completed and immunisations records need to be provided or viewed by our staff. A non-immunised child may also attend. Action Plans must also be provided. What To Bring Please ensure that you have packed, nappies, wipes, change of clothes a drink and snack. We have snack time around 10:00am, therefore we encourageyou to bring healthy snacks and drinks for yourchild. The Crèche does not provide any food. We do not allow children to eat food items that CONTAIN TRACES OF NUTS OR NUT PRODUCTS. We are a nut free Crèche. For toilet training children, please bring a change of clothes and we encourage youto inform staff of your child’s toilet training procedures so that we can encouragethem in the Crèche. General Information We have a no toy policy in our Crèche, however an item of comfort/security is acceptable. We take no responsibility for lost or damaged items.
